Information You Submit
A name, location, or other term entered into a search box is transmitted to the third-party provider that operates the tool. Haralson County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider may collect and use the query under its separate privacy policy and terms.
If you send an email or use an available contact channel, the message may include your name, email address, and any details you choose to provide. Messages are retained as needed to respond and manage the request. They are not shared outside the organization unless a service provider must help deliver the response or disclosure is legally required.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard technical information may be recorded when a page loads. This information helps operate, secure, and understand use of the site.
- Internet Protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent on them
- Referring website, when supplied
- Date and time stamps
Cookies and similar browser technologies may be used to measure how visitors use the pages, remember limited preferences, or support advertising and analytics. Browser controls can block or remove cookies. Some functions or measurements may behave differently when cookies are disabled.
How Information Is Used
Collected information is used only for ordinary site operations, measurement, communication, and lawful compliance purposes.
- Keep pages available, secure, and responsive

The site links to Haralson County release resources, sheriff and court pages, Georgia corrections services, federal locators, VINE, and third-party search tools. Once a visitor follows an outside link, the destination site's privacy policy governs its collection, storage, and use of information. This privacy notice does not control a government portal or outside business.
Analytics and advertising partners may use cookies, pixels, or similar tools on their own systems. Some advertising providers may measure activity across websites to select or assess interest-based advertising. Visitors should review the provider's choices and opt-out tools where applicable.
