Haralson 24-Hour Release Source
Haralson County does not publish an official page titled “24-Hour Releases.” The closest exact-day source is the sheriff vendor’s 24 Hours Arrests page. Its heading says “Inmates Booked Last 24 Hours.” That wording matters. It reports bookings and arrests during a rolling day, not people who left the jail during that day. The page had no entries when the research capture was made, which also shows why a single empty result should not be treated as proof about one person.
The sheriff’s Inmates by Arrest Date search is the better release-oriented tool. It can show “Status: RELEASED” and “Status: CURRENTLY BOOKED” in the same roster family. Its dates refer to arrest dates, though, not release dates. A released status confirms that the displayed booking is no longer active. It does not by itself say whether the person went home, entered state custody, or returned to another agency.
Check Haralson Releases Today
Start with a name and an estimated booking date. Then use each official channel for the fact it actually holds. This sequence avoids mistaking a vanished current-roster entry for a community release.
- Open the current inmate roster and search the name. A matching active entry means the person remains booked in that roster.
- Open the 24 Hours Arrests page to learn whether a booking occurred during the last day. Remember that it is not a release list.
- Use Inmates by Arrest Date, select a range that includes the booking, and compare the name and charge details. Look for “Status: RELEASED.”
- Check Georgia VINE for a custody-change status or alert when the person is covered.
- Ask the sheriff for the booking release record if exact time, release authority, bond, hold clearance, or transfer destination matters.
The online roster’s update cadence is not published. Do not call it real-time. A status may change as staff complete release processing, and a vendor screen may not carry every detail from the jail-management record. For a named-person search that crosses county, state, court, and federal systems, use the full path on the Haralson County released inmates home page.
Haralson 24-Hour Roster Fields
When results exist, the InterOp roster family presents a detailed booking record. Some fields identify the arrest, while others show custody status or the court path. It does not reliably display an explicit release timestamp in the text view reviewed for this project.
| Field | What it can establish |
|---|---|
| Name, image, sex, height, weight | Helps distinguish people with similar names; an image may appear while the record remains visible. |
| Status | Shows “RELEASED” or “CURRENTLY BOOKED” on the arrest-date page. |
| Arrest date and days in jail | Places the booking in time, but is not an exact release date. |
| Total bond | Shows the listed bond amount, not proof that bond was posted. |
| Warrant, count, statute, charge, M/F | Connects the booking to alleged charges and classifies them as misdemeanor or felony. |
| Court | Points toward the court file that may explain the disposition or sentence. |
Addresses are redacted in the public display. Charge rows may expand, and pagination can hide a record beyond the first screen. Search variants of the name and a sensible date range before concluding that no record exists.
Haralson Jail Release Reception
The Haralson County Detention Division says detention staff process admissions and releases. Its Reception function is the main contact point for warrants, bonding, and inmate release. That local workflow makes Reception and records more useful than guessing from roster movement when a release has just been processed.

The official division page connects roster research to the people who handle release processing. It does not publish set release hours, a public exit location, or special weekend timing, so none should be assumed.

Haralson Bond Releases Today
A fast release after booking often involves bond, but the bond event does not end the court case. The sheriff’s bonding guidelines describe professional, property, cash, and transfer bonds. Professional bonding companies charge the rate shown by the sheriff. Property bonds require qualifying Haralson County property papers and identification. Cash bonds require valid identification and sufficient cash or certified funds. The sheriff also lists a $20 fee for each property or cash bond under the cited Georgia fee law.

These rules explain how someone may be booked and released within one day even though the case remains open. A cash-bond refund comes later and requires the surety’s paperwork, identification, original receipt or substitute address proof, and certified court disposition. That separate refund process reinforces the difference between leaving jail and completing a case.
Haralson Roster Release Quirk
The local naming can mislead a rushed reader. “24 Hours Arrests” sounds close to a daily jail activity report, yet it only answers who was booked. Release status lives on a page sorted by arrest date. The safest reading is therefore two-part: use the day feed to identify a recent booking, then use the date-range page to see whether that same booking is marked released.
The research found no published retention schedule for released roster entries. Recent released bookings may remain visible for a limited time or within selected date results, but the sheriff does not promise a fixed archive window. Older events need a records request or court file. The wider 72-hour release list page explains how to build a three-day check without claiming that the county maintains such a feed.
Photos and Haralson Release Apps
The roster can show image slots or links while a booking is still retained. That can help match a person to a booking, but image availability says nothing about current custody. Search results also referenced a Haralson sheriff app campaign. No reviewed official county page confirmed that the app contains a recent-release module, so it should not be described as a verified release feed.
Georgia VINE is the verified notification channel linked by the jail. OffenderWatch is a separate, verified registry channel for people subject to sex-offender registration. Neither is a general substitute for the sheriff’s booking release record. Use VINE for custody-change alerts and the roster or records office for the underlying local booking.
Confirm a Haralson Release
An open-records request should identify the person, booking or arrest date, case number if known, and the precise fields sought. Ask for the release date and time, release type or authority, releasing facility, and transfer destination when applicable. The sheriff form asks for the requester’s contact information and enough names, dates, times, locations, or case numbers to locate the record. Fees may apply, and the office states it will contact the requester before processing when charges are due.
A pending prosecution may route some material through the Clerk of Superior Court’s discovery procedures. Court records can explain bond, dismissal, sentence, or transfer authority, but they may not show the jail’s physical release timestamp. If a person left Haralson County Jail for GDC, search the Georgia Department of Corrections next. A county roster release in that situation is a transfer between systems, not proof of release into the community.
